With summer literally in sight, it’s time for beach lovers to dust off their bathing suits, thongs and sun hats. From this Saturday 30th November until 21st April 2014, the Sorrento Ocean, also known as the Back Beach will be patrolled by Life Saving Victoria.
With picnic facilities, a kiosk and a surf lifesaving club, this a great beach for those looking for a place to sun bathe and for some more waves than Sorrento’s Bay Beach can offer.
To ensure you stay safe and healthy, make sure you swim between the red and yellow flags to avoid rips, regularly apply sunscreen and stay hydrated.
